The neck joint is simply a long tenon set neck design, with the tenon extending through most of the body.
I'll ask him your other questions when I reach out.

I understand the neck joint is a long or in this case extra long tenon on the Rands but it would still be great to see an unfinished body and how these great guitars are made.

Just got an email from Rand:

I have been on hold for a couple of months due to a family matter. I will let you know when we get things up and rolling again, but the new shop is looking good (but things never happen as fast as i want them) we also have a couple of interesting things in the works.
