rg550 arrived today

the road flare red 550 arrived today. WOW!! what a color!! this thing is weird....it is part red, part orange, part hot pink. for being an '87 it is in killer condition. one small chip on the bottom front, one by the trem and a couple of dents. it has a F7****** serial number.

it plays like i remember these guitars playing - effortless. i will prolly get some shit, but it plays quite a bit easier than my soloists. i like the skinny neck. i grew up on these guitars and now i remember what i LOVED about them...

well, guess that's it for now. it will be getting green di'marzio pickups and yellow knobs, along with a blue switch tip.

I have an '89 RG550 RFR on the way. I've had christ knows how many of these things now. I think I'd better start keeping some of them.
Anyway, you cant beat them. They play great, sound great, look great and you can rod the fuck out of them. A classic.
