Mine.
Old RG550, no idea how old, my friend had it in 1988, and it was old then. Painted by John Diggens at JayDee Guitars, the pics don't quite show up how disgustingly pink it is. Hot pearl pink. Lovely. My old snotter for testing amps etc kept at work, now has just a white EMG85 and luminous knobs- yay!
Ibanez 540S Sabre. Bought in USA in 1989, used, again, no idea how old it actually is. Had a refinish 10 years ago (!) after some prick dropped it and took the paint off down to the wood all along the bottom edge. Still not got round to putting it back together. Soon!
Old pic of the previous 2 together (taken in about 1990)
Another 540S Sabre, older still, this one gave me the urge to buy my Black Cherry one. This is the one I rescued from a pawn shop for £40 about 5 years ago, sold by my junkie mate, who still doesn't know I have it. He can have it back the day I believe he is clean. This has the Hipshot Tremsetter inside, and the pink pickup is a Dimarzio Fred, I seem to recall. My friend bought it like this in 1987, and despite the shitty pics, it is in wonderful condition, no massive dings, knocks or scratches.
Finally, this 1995-ish RG450 has actually been sold now, but it was a lovely colour so I'll put it in here. Sold to a guy who couldn't play a thing, never had a guitar before. He also bought a Marshall stack from me the same day! He sat in his garden with his bedroom window open and just made elephant noises at full whack all afternoon. The very next day the council told him he would be evicted if he made any more noise. (So I took the guitar back and kept it for a while)
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!
I nearly broke her back

Neo?
Whats the nut size on the Gilbert and the neck profile?
Wizard slim or alitlle fatter then a wizard slim?
Gilbert's long fingers makes anything he plays look small.
I owned an older RG years ago and it had a slim wizard neck and it had its pro's and con's.
Playing lead was great but chording was a nightmare.
It tired and cramped my hand out quickly when chroding.
I truly would love to have a 301 one and the neck is the most part of the any guitar to me.

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.
Yes, there's a bee in the pudding.

This finish never looks the same way twice in photos!
I loved the grain of the rosewood, though I always thought it could use a touch of lemon oil
And the Greg Howe Hairband

(Incidentally, I think there's only 1 genuine Vintage Ibanez on this thread, but fuck it, who cares!!)So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!
