  • Signature Guitar Co.

I just found a very cool project that consists of rare Signature Guitar Co. legacy & Lasido/Godin built parts.
These parts were made available after Signature closed their doors...similar to Kramer's firesale...

First up is a Signature Odyssey body built by Lasido:
    - Limewood (Alder family)
    - Carved Top
    - HSS
This one will see a refin...not sure what the plan will be yet.

Second is a custom reverse Jackson neck also built by Lasido:
    - Familiar aluminum side dots (just like the Lasido built Kramer necks) Dots are on both sides to allow the neck to be used for lefty or as rev HS.
    - Flame rock Maple, no scarf joint.
    - Dark ebony FB w/ MOP dots

Third is a Schaller Floyd...which was installed by the previous owner and is btw thankfully correct for the Signatures.

Last but not least, I also landed some NOS Evans pickups, also correct for Signatures.
Theses are no longer in production...

The last Lasdio resurection project I did a while back was for a buddy...very same type of neck on this one, only it was a regular righty w/ the aluminum dots...:thumbsup

This will definitely make for a fun historic mutt restomod project and when she's done, she will joint the rest of the family

They're all cool, but I really dig the red one in the center. Is that a natural masked binding on it?

Why is the neck pickup route different?

Not sure if the neck pu route was ordered like that or modified to fit a pickup. The Evans or Seymour Hot Stacks that these came with didn't need the extra clearance route so probably someone just added it.
I may just open it up to HSH...

Almost ready for finish...a bit more sanding and prep to do.
I managed to find a full set of white Evans pickups for this badboy
You can see the rough sample colour in the last pic...

those white pups look insane in the big blue body. I love that stain.

sorta looks like a fat chick in a blue dress eating marshmallows
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives
