Dimarzio Body and Neck project

Hey everyone,
Just thought I would post some pics of my latest project.
I bought this guitar a few days ago.
i am now stripping the body that i believe is a Charvel. Many layers of paint ! i am not sure what to do after I strip it completely. I hvae a guitar with a Kahler already. I prefer Floyds so we will see. I may pull a Budman on this one ha ha. The neck I am not sure of. Here are the pics.

Well just wanted to post an update.
I have removed most of the many layers of paint. The neck pocket is 2 3/16" with all of the paint removed. Well looks like I am on the hunt for another Jackson woodburn neck. What cavity cover would be correct?

looks great tho the kahler mod kind of sucks

The kahler mod sucks as much as the holes in the control cav.
I have been thinking about what it will look like when completed.

Well just wanted to post an update:
I have been busy on the hunt on ebay this weekend and found a plate and an OFR.
Still hunting for a maple/maple neck set up for an OFR and tuners.
Well back to the hunt.
