  • Bought one of these....

    Not my pix but...same thing...

Just thought I'd mention it...For $399 I am very pleased...The active pups are a little on the buzzy side but still sound better than most stock pups...I think I like em more that the DiMarzios that came with my Xyphos...Still out on that though...Love EMGs and that’s what I have in my other guitars...

I have a nice Tokai Love Rock so I will draw a comparison to that...

    MUCH better fret access...

    Lighter...

Very similar neck (back) but a flatter fret radius...Typical Ibanez type...

Bottom line...Feels very comfy to play...Just always look forward to picking it up...Nice LP style guitar...all mahogany too...and it sounds like an all mahogany guitar too!

I feel much better about the $399 I paid for this than I did for the $700 I paid for the Tokai...

I like it except for the goofy bumpy finish.

I should have mentioned...It felt more like a PRS than an LP to me...I was playing all three styles the day I bought it...

I like the bumpyness of it all... The texture is quite shallow...

The black/white binding is really cool.

IMO that weird finish cheapens the look. Seems like a nice guitar though, and the Gibraltar III is a great bridge.
            Why so serious?

the saddles are interesting... different finish, but it grows on you.

              not in a fugus way!
...that taste like tart, lemon yogart

I like those. Was messing around with one just like it, and a regular finish one, last weekend. Was digging the Tokais a little more, but still, a good solid guitar. I could see owning one for the right price.
