..here is my '87 550 after the "color" mods. i put a di'marzio norton in the bridge and an air norton in the neck. middle pickup is stock. threw some yellow knobs and a blue switch tip on there and it was pretty good...but it was missing something. the recessed area under the bridge needed something. so i went to the craft section at walmart, bought some blue "craft foam", cut a piece to size and glued in the recess....now it is perfection!!!!
hurts the eyes and might may someone with a weak stomach vomit, but here is an ibanez from the hey-day of ugliness!!!!! YEE-HAA!!!! oh, and the headstock DOES match, it just catches the flash funny....
i wish the green pickups matched better, but you really can't notice in normal light. this ugly-assed monster will get its stage debut on 8-15 at "the core" in oldsmar, FL if any tampa area members care to come out!!!!

Those colors look great! My band plays mainly 80's hard rock covers and your colors would suit us perfectly
