Other than the chips in the tips it is dead mint. It even has a ebony fret boardFrets are perfect as if its never been played. Plays great other than a little fret buzz which will be taken care of by a good set up.

Re: the setup- Mark did it that way on purpose. He was just having fun, probably with me (I think I'm his biggest "shred guitar" guy in the neighborhood) and said he set is so low you basically can only tap or pull off, and if you use a pick it'll buzz. So yeah, you're gonna want to change that
