trust me, man, i TOTALLY agree with on the "band" thing. it pisses me off, to an extent. makes me think of that band no doubt. but sadly, everytime we do something or have gotten print press, the attention goes to her - i am done trying to fight it. we play pop-ish music anyway, so i have found that the stress of fighting it has been a losing battle.

if you can't beat 'em, might as well join 'em.

as far as her face, eh, sometimes she's hot to me, sometimes not. she's really not my type, but A LOT of dudes go NUTS for her at our shows....

I tend not to like a female LS as the attention seems to leave the band as a whole. Let's just say you are treading some thin ice if it goes to her head. Or if one of the other band members start banging her.

Had that happen in my last outing with the drummer and the LS. Next thing I know we are doing whole sets of No Doubt covers because they became a voting majority.

hahahaha, yeah - she was a solo artist first. i came from an established band. so it has been kinda hard, but she gets put in her place A LOT. luckily, she responds to it. she's married and her husband is VERY active in the business side of the band. he is actually our manager at the moment. we just filed paperwork for our band to become a LLC, with her as CEO and me as president.

so far things have been great. i just figured i'd give the "fans" what they want, which seems to be hot pictures of her. so far it is working. we have had 470 myspace hits since thursday last week.

we'll see what happens....
