Here's a shot after finishing the oiling process. I went with a satin finish because I like the raw wood feel. Still waiting for my pickups to get here.

This kind of stuff just impresses the hell out of me...I can't even get up the guts to try a Warmoth "piece together" guitar. Looks real nice, man. Real nice. The headstock is awesome, and I don't like many headstocks.
I still keep practicing though.... Mostly because I hate my neighbors.-MakeAJazzNoiseHere

This thing is all buttoned up now, except that I'm going to make different pickup rings and a truss rod cover for it out of walnut.

Last part was the fretwork, which took forever but it was worth it because you haven't lived until you've played on mirror polished stainless steel!

I am also super happy with my pickup choices, the Duncan Custom Custom might be my new favorite pickup. Between that and the frets, I cannot put this guitar down. Thanks for following it, and for the encouraging comments everybody!

That looks amazing man, absolutely inspirational! I'm gathering up the tools and bits needed to start dabbling in guitar creation, I'll save these pics to get me through the dodgy playing strats at the start

                              Very impressive~
I did make some copies of bodies in shop class, but nothing of this caliber.
I wish I had the shop to do this kind of thing on my own as well.

                              Great job!

Very Cool!!!! I like building also. I have a couple of friends & we like to build Guitars & Mandos together & always come up with something that is wild...Inlay is fun, it can make or break a guitar & as you can see I went just a touch over board on this..here is a link to the latest:
