Oh, and P-rails look awesome. I am thinking of trying them out as well. I saw the demo video and the tones were pretty damn convincing.

Do you know what the original color,hardware, and specs were also?

yeah, it's a 2004 studio that was originally black with chrome hardware.

I also like the look of the Black Chrome, especially the 'smoked chrome' offered on the Kahlers now. Did you happen to see those yet?
I cant recall seeing black chrome in Gibson specs either, but there might be some, I dont know?

not at the moment. i started wetsanding the color coats yesterday, and need to finish that up before i start shooting clear coats. once the clear is on, it'll sit for about a month.
