Dean guitars are what they are. Decent but overpriced "metal" guitars. I doubt anyone here is going to be falling for their marketing schemes.

I almost posted similar comments about Dean milking Dimebag's legacy, but then got to thinking about Jackson and Rhoads. Not the same I know, but not a billion miles away either....Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

The difference is, in my mind, Jackson has several Rhoads models from entry level to high end. Dean has many guitars in each price range.
They expect you to collect them like Pokemon.
