Or if you are not Joe and are interested then uh.... well please read too...

Joe, I think you were asking about the Jake E Lee ESP Strat a few months ago and if it were a shortscale (24.75") length guitar.

Not sure if you found the answerbut...

I found the answer. Yes. It is indeed.

Cool. Thanks, Chris! That's what I thought. I also like how they did the jumbo frets on 1- 12 and medium on 12- 22. I'll have to track one of those down one day.

Yeah me too! They don't come by often and are not cheap... If you pick one up I need to drive down by you and check it out.

Sounds like a plan. Though, I don't see me getting another guitar any time soon.

My old man has a beaut aussie made guitar that has 17 and up a different fret size, I actually find it harder to play because you have to press down harder on the smaller frets, eliminating the extra width. 12 and up might be alot easier to adapt to though

I did that too (6100 and 6105 fret job) on a 1963 SG!

Play great though. I took it to Dan Erlewine to have the neck re-set a few years ago and he didn't give me much grief about screwing up a vintage instrument. It's a player after all.

Cool. They are indeed made to be played!

Here's some pics that I have saved on my PC:

I got some Charvels mixed in with the ESP JEL guitars. I tried to edit, but I couldn't oh well....

Notice that the ESP JEL's have 2 knobs on them?
That was factory too. Wonder if they are both volume, or 1V/1T?

The rist 2 pics are Charvels, and the last pic is a replica, the rest are ESP JEL's
