When you drill the new post holes won’t you be drilling into the dowel in the old holes? Will that give any issues?

Partially yes, but no this won't cause any issues. This is how it's always done. The dowels are glued in, and should be as strong as the surrounding wood. In fact, the posts won't be moved much, so most of the material drilled out when I drill the new holes, will be the dowels.

Sorry, no pics today. It was raining, so I didn't bother going out to the shop. With any luck, I'll throw some paint at it tomorrow.

            Nice!

This guitar looks like it's gonna end up looking real nice. You should keep posting pictures. I always like watching these types of projects progress.

                  Paitience, patience!

I worked on it a little today. I have it completely primed again, with all the filling an touch-ups done. I will post some pics a bit later, but they're not very exciting yet.

I'm going to let the primer dry up nice and hard, then sand it a little, and maybe do one more coat of primer before I get to the colour.

Okay, here's a couple of the first coat of colour. I'll probably be doing 3 coats, and sanding between coats. The paint is actually auto enamel, and the colour is called GM WHITE.

                      Looking good.
I'm very familiar with that color.
This was my last paint project...

                          Zeegler,
Find a sign shop near you to conver that little logo into a vector mask. It will save ya a ton of time and look super clean. You could also print it on waterslide paper. Nice job with the project.

Uh, hey thanks guys, but what the heck is a vector mask and what do I do with those files? A signmaker will know what I'm talking about if I take them a disc with those files on it?

I was going to suggest printing it out and then cutting it out to use it as a stencil.

Project's looking great so far, zeegs. The mods to the headstock look much, much better now
                                Hail yesterday
