Actually if you look at it - it has a unique upper fret access design I think anyway.

It is beautifully beveled on the top and the bottom.

It is designed so that you have the SAME upper fret access to the 24th fret as if he made you one with a 27 fret neck. No inhibitions to the 24th fret whatsoever.

Thats what I use to like about the Hamer Cali I use to have. But there were things I did not like about the Cali.

The way I see it this is similar to a Cali but designed the way I would have done it.

Plus I got the neck I wanted exactly the way I wanted it.

Now I have to find a purple strap!

The string retainer bar looks like its too far toward the nut but if it works thats all that matters.Looks killer.

Uhh...I think your guitar looks great, but the guitars on his webpage are just horrid. Especially the "V".
He (the luthier) needs someone with a sense of shapes and design to help him with the templates.

What part of the word 'Custom' didn't you get ?

If someone local wants thier own custom design i give them a blank template with a centre line and a few starting criteria, it's not up to me what they come up with and that's half the fun, i'm only here to transmit thier design into wood and at the end of it they get the guitar and the template as it's their design not mine.

People who i don't know personally, or don't know of me locally, only come to me for my focus models which are the Hamer Californian inspired NC's as these are the guys who are into Californians and they know Hamer will NEVER make another one no matter how many times the subject comes up on the internet.
