Got tired of waiting on Charvel to produce..so I decided to get Michael Charvel to build me one. Birdseye, 50's neck profile with 1 11/16 nut, heel contour and of course the old headstock ...she came out perfect and plays like an old friend. Very tight guitar and flawless craftsmanship!

That is sweet! Ive always liked that headstock for some reason. One of the better semi-strat headstocks.

Juss wonderin, does anyone know what it says on Frenchie?
Lynch's Kamikazi guitars have those Japanese symbols also that have eluded me as well.

I always wanted to know, especially Frenchie, so I can make a translated clone as a project someday. IT's prob something really gay...
I hate not know what something means! Lol!

I thought someone told me it meant "Live fast, die young."

My French is terrible, but it basically says "Too fast to live" and "Too young to ..."
Mou Rire means laugh softly, but that doesn't make sense.
"Mourir" without the "e" means die.

That's cool. They still offer that bottle opener headstock? I thought they only used the stupid beak headstock now.

Michael will build whatever you want Joe, he's never done a 50's neck before either he said...used his own '58 LP as a guide for the machine. She's got a TB-14 to answer the above and translated it means too fast to live, too young to die ...oh and I ordered this in May, so pretty fast IMO!

That's good to know. I really like that headstock, so I may have to order a guitar from them eventually.

Very sweet guitar. So if they can build it and faster delivery time, how would it compare in price to a Charvel?
                            Just one more guitar!
