  • New YNGWIE Strat...

Just got a NOS and it's a screamer. 7.3 lbs, Dimarzio stacked humbuckers are fat and warm, brass nut, great neck...I was thinking about one of the new models with the bullet truss rod and deeper scallops, but this one came to me first so I grabbed her.
    This guitar ROCKS.
    Check her out-

I know that these are also available in Red and Sonic Blue (?), but the Vintage White is by far the nicest color in my book.
That there is a nice axe bro! My best friend has a Candy Apple Red one with a Rosewood board, and it is nice, but not as appealing as yours!

Were the specs different throughout the years, or were they just recently updated, (or upgraded, whatever the term)?

BTW, did you see the Fender CS Ducky guitar yet? It's pretty nice! Nice and expensive too...

Nice guitar Jeff. How did the gig go at the Rack and Roll in Stamford. My band is trying to get a gig going at Monster B's. We want all the bikers to show up ( I am a biker too) and a few guys from MTV are going to shoot a music video.

Beautiful guitar Jeff - how do you like the scalloped board? Did you have to change your left hand technique much?

How is it? I've wanted to try one of those for so long yet I've never gotten the chance. I really want to see how different the scalloping makes playing. If it's easier or harder.

My favorite color as well. I will eventually own one. Eventually.
I still keep practicing though.... Mostly because I hate my neighbors.-MakeAJazzNoiseHere

John -Rack N Roll was good. Big place. Good luck with the MTV video at MonsterB's - you should look into "Riders" in Waterbury for a great biker bar. They have a huge outdoor stage for biker rallies and stuff and the crowd responds well to metal.

Pete - Thanks man. The scalloped board is actually really easy to play.
It's almost an unfair advantage when shredding fast because you barely touch those huge frets and you get clean sustain immediately.

We're doing another video on Saturday the 27 at Molly Darcy's with digital audio directly off the board and a high-def camera or two. Also have the lighting company coming in and like last time we are extending the stage out to accomodate the show. If any of you guys can make it down let me know and I'll put you on the guestlist - as usual, first one's on me too.
Anyway, the YJM is a real player - you guys should try one out.
