  • I had to have this Gibby

I got this Gibson Explore from my guitar tech. He refinished the guitar changed all the hardware in gold. It was a real mess when he got it the whole guitar was painted black even the fret board real mess. My Tech refinished Natural and it just looks Killer. He instaled a set of EMG's in a 81 in the bridge and a 60 in the neck. It is awsome to play I have hardlly put it down in the past week!

Not a huge fan of explorers, but I must admit, that's probably the coolest one I have ever seen.

That is a nice one. I have owned a few and still own one. I had one of those 80's jobbies back when they first came out. I think I paid $425 w/case (plus tax). They are awsome. My friend still has one of those and he added a pickguard to his also. They look nekkid without one.

Nice axe! I've owned several Explorers and when you find a good one, they are hard to beat.
