                The old Super D's are way different than the new ones a lot beefier IMO.
                I collect old pickups and love the old D's.Bought a 70's DiMarzio PAF double creme today can't wait to put it in something oh wait I have a new project.LOL

                  Really I never new that the new D's were different. I am really impressed with them. I was thinking of buying a new set for another guitar. I will have to try and find a older set than I guess. That sucks. I guess i will have to check out Ebay for a set.
