  • Latest build project from Southeast Guitars.

Just thought I would share the latest guitar project with you guys. Spent all last week getting the tung oil finish on it, and wiring and set up this weekend. Body was built by Warren at Southeast Guitars, the neck is Warmoth. Half and half body of Flamed Claro Walnut with Honduran Mahogany back. Warmoth birdseye/birdseye standard thin neck with 10-16 radius. Dimarzio Super 3 (bridge) and Duncan Vintage Rails (neck) and original Floyd Rose. A bit brighter tonally than the half and half Flamed Maple/African Mahogany guitar in the background and not quite as heavy. Although they are both beasts (think Les Paul heavy!) but the tone is amazing.

Here is the next one, the body is half and half Quilted maple with Honduran Mahogany back. Southeast Guitars Night Eagle (Kramer Nightswan) body. Warren is going to build the neck for this one but I told him no rush.

As I've stated before, the tops on those things are ridiculous! They are so thick! Those are some nice guitars you got built there.
    "Dear Dr. Bill,
I work with a woman who is about 5 feet tall and weighs close to 450 pounds and has more facial hair than ZZ Top." - Jack The Riffer

"OK, we can both have Ben..joint custody. I'll have him on the weekends. We could go out in my Cobra and give people the finger..weather permitting of course.." -Bill Z. Bub

Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.

I hope to have the third one done within a few months then I'm taking a break on building any new ones, the guitar fund is a bit crippled right now.
