I know someone here owned like 2/3rds of the GMPs ever made, but I was wondering what the story was behind this brand, as this is the only place I ever see mention of them

Never owned one but did enjoy seeing there stuff at NAMM. Last year obviously they weren't there. Wonder if they'll be back there this year?
On a similar note, I hear ADA is back too

They are nice, but the necks are a bit wide at the nut. 1 3/4ths from the feel.

I like 1 5/8th (vintage)

I've never tried 1 3/4", that I can remember, but I prefer 1 11/16". My Hamer is 1 5/8" but I can feel the difference. It's a little more cramped on that one than my other guitars.

i used to have an ibanez 540P and it was 1 3/4" if i recall. i didn't like it. that is why i gave it away - yes you read that right....i gave it away for free. now i am super angry at myself.

it was like playing a classical guitar.
