Ibanez Xiphos or maybe an LTD v-500...

Any experience with either of these guitars?
Both cost about the same,neck-thrus, mahogany bodies and both look killer...
Just can't make up my mind!!

Isn't the Xiphos made in Indonesia?

They look cool but I would definitely want to play it first...

yup i think you'r right.
i actually played and liked both, but the xiphos felt more natural because i've never owned a non-floyd guitar, unlike the string-thru on the v500 which will take a while to get used to.
So the advantage of the xiphos in this regard is that it will feel a lot more familiar right away, but the advantage of the LTD is that i will have something different than what i'm used to.

I love the warrior waay more, but i just can't find a neck-thru warrior for the same price

I dig mine, picked it up for a stupid price. So even if it sounded like green apple diarrhea, i wouldn't be out much. I am not sure how I feel about the Ibby trem though.... The "d-activators" scream fairly nice as well.

Cool vid, Dave. Though, most people relocate the the pin from that spot on the Warriors to the back of the body.
