I mentioned a while ago that I'd picked up an RGX1203S for a screaming deal and promised to post pics. Slack-ass me as finally got around to it. And since there is so little discussion about this particular model it would be cool to get some pics of one on here.
research hasn't turned up a lot on these so far, but they are obviously neckthru, made in Taiwan, have the serial stamped on the back of the headstock, MOP inlays on what looks to be an ebony fretboard, bound neck & h/s, 3 propietary single coils, 5-way blade switch, volume, two tones and a mini-switch which seems to cut the output. Coil tap, maybe? Except this doesn't have 'buckers.... hmmmm
it also has a behind-the-nut locking mechanism & the strings feed through the trem before being locked down from above with allen keys. So no clipping the ballends on this puppy!
a spec sheet I found on some of the SE models, including the SE1203S, seems to support a lot of my guesses. Although it's a obviously a different model, so I'm not putting a lot of stock in it.
anyhoo, on to the pics....
