Well I have seen it and played it and yes it is bad ass!
Roy put a lot of effort into replicating his Dads airplane from WWII.
The cool thing to me is the detail in this guitar down to his Dad's photo etched into the neck plate.A fine tribute IMO.
The paint up close is really cool it looks like aluminum under the paint like a real airplane and the wear on the paint looks like it had years of flying.
Roy and the guys at RS have been friends of mine for a long time and you can't find a group of guitar nuts better than these guys.
I agree with the other guys, this is a very nice guitar, and more so and awesome and tasteful tribute to your father. You can bet he's proud of what you did with this guitar.
It is one of the nicest war scheme paintjobs I've ever seen, and thats a fact!
Good job bro!!

It is pretty cool, I have one question though. Why do so many people make the single hum guitars? Is that a trend at the moment? It just seams like it limits the versatility of the insturment.
Good question. I have 7 guitars and each of them has 1 volume and 1 humbucker, that's all I use, so that's all I put in them.
But also 1 humbucker guitars offer more usable space when painting a design or graphic on the front.

I agree...I need at least a tone pot in there too.
Glad you guys are digging this guitar too. How bout' the case ????
The single hum guitars are better platforms for graphics. It depends on the pickup used as to versatilty I have a 1 hum guitar with an old DiMarzio super D and has a very clean sound when used on a clean setting actually kind of chimey like a strat.
I like the Fralin PAF's too they are a killer all around humbucker.
Amp setting has a lot to do with it too.
Don't count out a 1 hum guitar on versatility.
