  • new mutt project, and a Kramer

thats a model 3 body that I scored for 29 bucks on e-gay... with pickups, trem studs, pots... I just added a volume and tone knob, and my sweet divebomb inc crazy birdseye maple neck, and the schaller trem thing.

Here's the pacer custom... you either love Kramers (played one) or hate them (not played one yet, yet to be infected):

Love 'em! Especially the Pacer! I always liked that color too! What year is it?

somewhere around 86/early '87 as best I can research it.

I knew deep down inside there was some reason I thought you were Kool.

        Chig...
        You are also the man.
I'm not sure how it's possible for more than one person to be the man, but somehow folks like you prove it that it's possible.

I sold a rather sweet Kramer StratHead Pacer to someone.

Funny thing was, I think they were not that cool with the sale.

offered to buy it back for the 750 (minus paypal fees, etc., etc.) but they never replied.

        Why are people dicks?

        Sorry, no thread hijack intended.

I normally keep my rants to 20 words or less, or PM them.

        Sorry I lost my head.

          Thanks!
I am a Jackson/Charvel man by heart forever, but Kramer is definitely my #2 choice. Pre MusicYo of course.
I had a lefty Baretta, and a few Pacers myself, but I only have my 83 Focus 4000 Roundhorn V left. But I put a '95 KV neck on it and added a finetuner floyd, so it's not stock anymore.
I will always have a soft spot for Kramers, and old ESP's, and old BCRich's too actually.

            Cool M

There are actually a number of cool guitar mfg. from back then.

I had a B.C. Rich ST-III that was one killer unit.

            Very J/C like

There is a connection with B.C. Rich and GMW... I think there was a repair/refurb type thing with one of the GMW guys and B.C. Rich back in the day.

I know nothing, but remember something being said about that.

            As to the musicYO thing....
I got a sweet one from Alvin, and he can back me up on this... it was a stellar guitar... just perfect.
Kinda made in the USA of course

            :/

I wish Fish were here to clarify

I tried a M-Yo Kramer but it didn't feel good to me. Of course there's many more models avail. to you right handed players, so I'm sure that there's some good examples out there. I've heard both good and bad about them.
I can't say either, except that I didn't like the feel, but I dont doubt that it was a good guitar.
I knew that Gibson owned them or was that Kaman? Do they still own them?

I know the old saying that the value of an opinion is generally inversely proportional to the strength with which it is held.
