My brother in law has some old gear and he asked my opinion about the value. I told him I really have no idea but I thought I would ask you guys. I know this is somewhat subjective and I do not have pics so.......

Assuming these are legit and in good shape:

    1964 Gibson SG Special #229718

    1971 Marshall Super Lead 100W Head # SL/A 3062C

    1971ish 4x12 Cabinet #40062

    Thanks for any input.

As far as the amp & cab.....the head will pull around $1500.00. I just sold the same Marshall head for a friend through the music store & they seem to always bring that & his was well used & had mods done to it also. The Cab. depends on the speaker codes. We sold 4-4 X 12" cabs. ranging from 1971 to 1974 & they sold for an average of $900.00 a cab. Keep in mind he gigged with this amp & it showed wear.

The guitar will definitly depend on condition. I am not sure a value on that guitar but the early 1960's Gibson guitars seem to hold value very well. We just sold a 1961 Gibson Les Paul double cut in TV Yellow well used & it brought $5200.00 & the high Blue book on it was $7000.00. I hope this helps.

I just helped a buddy sell his 1961 Gibson Les Paul Junior (SG Body) on ebay. It sold for 2100. It was all original but had a repaired headstock, all pro job and a nice guitar. I would say that it really sold low due to the status of our economy.
      Damn, I love this Interweb.
