    Set-neck Strat ???

    Imagine if Fender made a set-neck, arch-top Strat ...

    Now slap on an Ebony board and a bound neck ...

    Leave it to Fender Japan ... 1991 Heartfield Elan I

          Yup, Fujigen just like all the great Ibanez's of the late '80's and early '90's. Great guitars ... excellent workmanship and quality !!! This particular Elan sings. Sounds better than 90 % of my collection !!! Can't explain it, I've had 4 of them and this is by far the best !!!

            That reminds me alot of my showmaster, setneck, archtop, bubinga, ebony board, and duncans. The part that rings true is greatest sounding guitar I have. Dunno why, but it is.

              I'm not really seeing much similarity to a Strat in that guitar, but I would like to see a pic of that Showmaster! (hint, hint) I've always liked Showmasters.

                The only similitarity to the showmaster and a strat is the fender logo and the strat head. I will try to get pics soon.

                          Very Nice.
                          Always thought the string thru bridge would not work with the arch top.

                              cool guitar but definetly not a strat... it's more similar to a Robben Ford signature Fender than a strat
