Not wild about the jack placement, at all. But makes me hot for a Gibson for the first time in a while.

nah, it don't do it for me - and I like Gibbo V's (maybe that's why) - don't like the bevels, the top and the inlays. I like V's to be simple - solid color or Korina transparant, rosewood boards with dot inlays - traditional or no pickguard.

Agreed about the bevels. And the tuners are goofy. Otherwise, though, one of the best looking Gibby's that I've seen in a long while.

I'm a Flying V fanatic and Gibson screwed the pooch on this model. It's not a bad guitar by any means, but not what I would expected for a 50th anniversay model.
