  • Holy flamed neck on a China made squire strat!

So I go get a starter pack for a family member that is going to start playing.

Stunned. At first I thought it was a photo finish or something.... The Headstock and entire neck has flame in the maple that rivals many custom shop guitars that I have seen. The flame is very tight and every inch is completely covered. WOW!!! BONUS!

I wanted to make sure we got a good guitar so I asked them to bring a few out and I would choose and this one was the first box we opened. It happened to play the best so it came home with us.

I can't believe it! The neck is pin straight and it plays great right out of the box. Very surprised. I have a few guitars with AAAAA flamed necks and this one rivals those!

$199 starter pack Squire. Who would have thought.

You definitely should post some pics of it ASAP!

i have a chinese starcaster that plays incredible, never goes out of tune, neck never moves thru the seasons, is solid as hell and heavy, and has a great natural tone, i've worn the frets pretty good on it. 21 fret twanger.
and the nut slot is Horrible, lol, it's kinda wierd.

Again, the reason why I never base my purchases on brandname, alone. I alway leave it up to the individual instrument. That is why I own both a Squier Standard Strat, and a cheapy Ibanez RG220. My main guitar is a Burny Les Paul Custom that plays better than any LP that has crossed my hands.
