  • What is the best?

    Hi,
Just a question: all of us know that Jackson are the best guitars (for metal), so I would ask you which is the best for other genres?
For blues? Rock? Jazz? And yes, also for metal if you think it!
And please tell me also the models!!!
I want to make a survey/poll/enquiry (I hope to use the right word... I'm italian, sorry if I wrong)

Fender Strat or Tele for blues
Fender Strat or Gibson Les Paul for classic rock
Gibson or Ibby Hollowbody with flatwounds for Jazzy stuff
Pink Hello Kitty for biker bars
"Wow,... that was some of the hardest rockin ever. Hardest to listen too."

I think Jacksons can excel in any genre. It's silly to stereotype guitar brands.

Obviously you're not going to see a Warrior in a blues band, but as far as the Dinky and Soloist, I don't see why they couldn't be in a blues, jazz, country, or classic rock band.

I totally used my Model 6 in a blues band back in the late 80's.
My brother called it my "Laser guitar" cuz the lights would reflect off the sharkies, and nobody in the audience had seen that kinda bling before.

          Tonally, it was right there.

          Oh, used my Schon too!

Since Eklipse is setting up a studio, I think what he's trying to do with this post is to make sure he has his bases covered.

                Sure,
                But just imagine.

Blind T-bone Lightnin-boy Willy Johnson with his blood drip Warrior playing the blues at a local jam.:ROTF:

Heck, I'd play it just for the chuckle factor.

more Jacksons! Really I think that there's not a be all end all instrument for music genres. Guitars are like women, this is fact!

It's right but this isn't the only reason, I post this thread also to know your tastes and to know model that I never listen

I use my SLS for Jazz all the time. I replaced the stock pickups with a jb/jazz combo. The tone control is a push/pull that taps the pickups to the outer coils. Sounds great clean. I did take my RR1 once but that wasn't popular with the other guys.

That's because it had Jeff Smeltz's name on it. :ROTF:
