  • what do I call this? MockingVel? CharBird?

it's a mongrel, yes, but it plays like a dream, and I think the angle of the headstock matches the front horn ..
    1996 USA Mockingbird
    1986 Model 4 neck
    BC Rich branded Floyd
    J90c in the bridge
    DiMarzio PafPro in the neck

The mini toggle does nothng as yet, I can't decide between a phase switch or a coil tap for the DiMarzio

Rip it to pieces if you want, but I played it about 3 hours in rehearsal on Sunday, and it plays like my Model 4, sounds great, varied tones when I need them, but looks like a mockingbird .. I'm really liking it !

I like it too... but then again, I'm a big fan of mutts.
If it plays nice, and has that certain mojo thing going on, who gives a damn what we think!!!
        Cheers!

It doesn't hurt my eyes or anything, but does it intonate?

perfectly, the intonation had a LOAD of work before that neck went on, and then by keeping the bridge to 12th fret distance the same, the intonation is spot on with the new neck
                    I hope that's what you meant !

I like it too! I think J/C neck s look good on anything!
Here's a BCRich Warlcok with a Jackson neck on that I built a while ago.
                      Has a BCRich logo, though:
                      'Howling in shadows
                      Living in a lunar spell
                      He finds his heaven
Spewing from the mouth of hell'

So, what you're saying is you did the intonation with a different neck?
