    If you dig deep in the memory vault, some of you may remember the old adds for these back in 88-89 Guitar World mags...

    Posted this one a while back...just pulled her out of the case today and these were sumpin else...just love the lumber they selected back then.
    One of those grails I never imagined I would ever even encounter much less own. Brings me right back to those days...

              Yes...the neckthroughs were Larrivee built.

              The bolt-ons had Lasido (Godin) built necks and bodies...(As did some of the early Kramer nanners back in 84-85)

                  I love looking at the evolution of the body recessing for floyd pull up. I mean, when you look at a modern recessed floyd, the routing makes absolute sense - then you look at all the different ways guitar makers tried routing the body, and its just funny. Some ideas made no sense at all - like in this example.

                  Otherwise - very cool guitars.

                    Thanks guys.


                    The routing is different, no doubt, could have been a bit smaller...
                    It was basically done in a way to allow mounting of the floyd like a standard floating flush mount.
                    The pocket allows pullback without recessing of the floyd and none of the issues of a recessed floyd. :idea:
