Thanks guys. Yeah I'm 90% sure a basic fret dress will clean everything up. A shame to have to do that on a new neck, but hell that won't be the first time!

      That's a killer build...love the Shell Pink!!!

With the black pups/knobs, I imagine this is what Ritchie Blackmore would have played if he was in a glam band

I like it as well. Nice design and color choice, and the Black pups are a nice touch.

Thanks guys! I had to crack her open again. The vintage wiring isn't working out (no tone control on bridge), I need to take the edge off that HS3. It's a bit brittle. Also, those pesky pickup height springs are causing me distress. They cock the pups at angles, and get themselves wedged between the pickguard and body. Here's a pic of the fix: surgical tubing. It holds the pups nice and straight and firmly, a much better option than springs IMHO.

It went in the shop, got it back, back in the shop, got it back again...one fret dress and new bone nut later, and this thing rocks! Unplugged it sounds like a fuggin acoustic guitar. You have to work a bit harder to play a hardtail strat w/ heavy bottom 10's, but it pays dividends in the form of spanky tone.
