  • In Maiden/Jake e Lee mode I guess

Been getting gas from the new maiden models . Lots of possibilities here. Maybe I'll make my own.

You did good on that one. I've been itching for a floyded strat lately myself.

Looks great! Is that a Jackson trem on there?

        Thanks guys.
I can't tell what kind of trem that is. I think it might me an OFR. I only see the fenders with them or (back then) kahlers and that doesn't look like a kahler unless it's a spider.

It's an early Floyd II single-locker or licensed equivalent, like what Charvettes and a a few import Charvels had. You can see how the strings feed through from the rear & come out over the saddles rather than being locked with blocks:

A Schaller or a JT-590 will fit the short recess, or you can even keep the baseplate and just replace the saddles with Schaller locking ones.

I think you need the Schaller blocks & shorter, fatter locking screws to fit that baseplate, and to fit into the recess without overhanging in the rear.

got the guitar. what a turd. The frets have huge ruts and they are too small to cut again(like I should pay for it anyway). GRRRRR!

I'd want a maple neck and a black body.

That's the danger of buying a guitar off the net, you should play an instrument before buying it, that way you can avoid getting a lemon. and make sure you find a guitar that really fits your needs.

There was a floyded strat with dual EMGs at Sam Ash today.

                              Black - check
                              Dual hums - check
                              Rosewood fretboard - FAIL.

If the damn thing had a maple fretboard I might have been interested.
