  • NGD: Ovation MT37 SEVEN Acoustic.

For christmas my girlfriend got me my first acoustic, i have been playing guitar for over 10 years and have never owned one, mainly because i play mostly metal and have never found an acoustic that caters to metal heads.... until now. This is a great guitar , very thin fast neck , lots of frets and very good upper fret access, amazing tone , strong preamp and onboard tuner and looks too kill!! Quality wise is not bad , but i have seen much better, but for $650 canadian its a killer guitar!.
    Heres a pic:

the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

they originally came with Gyneth's head in a box, but that was only for the first 100 limited editions.

It's the signature model of Mick Thomson from Slipknot. His stage name/number is "Seven".

I 'borrow' an ovation from my old man (I dont think it ever got to his place ), its a '78 usa made ultra series, and it has the most killer neck I've ever felt on an acoustic. Somewhat electric but still ultra comfy, these guys know their stuff!

wow now I'm getting one for sure.

my name is eight though, so I wonder if that will work.

Very cool ! I bought my niece a Korean import ssb Celebrity, and its
very smooth frets, and a solid tone, good preamp! $185.00
For 40 years Ovation has (like Peavey) given value for the $'s spent.
Ive had Ovations from $350.00 to $1900.00 all of them nice players.
Congrats! Now drop down to DADGAD and give me 20! :-))

My attempt at being about 2% of the great Adrian Legg!
