I passed on a Sustainer last year. It looked very similar to this SM. The neck on it was very very nice, flat board like a Jackson but a bit beefier profile. Why I passed on it I'll never know..._________________________________________________

Perhaps you had blue B.C. Rich ST-III on your mind at that time?
These Kramers are soooo sweet.
Wish I would stumble across one someday... for a good price.

Joelski that should be a Duncan JB.Mine has the original Schaller Golden 50's pickup in the bridge and a Fender single in the neck. The odd thing about mine it has mahogony body wings.I had an old Kramer rep come up to my booth at a guitar show and said that only a handful of Stagemasters were mahogony.
Check in your electronics cavity scratch off a little paint and see what you got.
Stagey's rock!!!BTW mine is an 87. Some stagey's have no serial number so don't freak out.
A friend of mine has a flip flop pink one with a toy soldier graphic and it has no serial number.Last edited by straycat; 01-12-2009, 07:17 PM.Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Yup. I know all about my Kramers, bro! That JB_J is wound by a certain, talented lady. Every time a new/old Kramer comes our way, we look at the sticker in the bottom to see if MJ made it. The JB's are good pups, but the ones wound by MJ (Hence the JB_J), are head and shoulders above most humbuckers to JB lovers. As for the mahogany wings, it sounds like yours was a Paul Dean blank that got routed as a stagey; not a common thing at all, but it happened ocassionally. There is no "team" in "Fuck You!"

I had a B-II with a JB-J and it was outstanding.Hell I've had several older B's that just killed. Now if I could only find a Nightswan Holoflash I'd be happy.
Have a pair of Distortions that Mr D. wound himself and yes they rock!Really? well screw Mark Twain.
