    That headstock looks wider than current production more like a Kalmazoo production.

      Those were 3 piece maple neck years.

      Gibson didn't return to a 1 piece mahogany neck until 1983 I think.

        Is he going to carve the top or just leave it kind of domed? Looks like a Norlin LP - like mine.

              that looks awesome, indeed!

              what body plans did you use? apparently the stew mac one is off. I have one that i got from the mlp forum that's pretty cool. no way in hell am i gonna be doing that one any time soon, though!

                            LOVE the color of the burst, but the headstock/logo (the S) looks a bit funky. was it a second, perhaps?

                                Possibly, as the heel was cut up, it may have been a neck that wasn't meant to be. Still looks cool

                                After looking at some late 70/early 80's LP's on the bay, it looks like the logo is correct for that time period, which is when this neck was supposed to have been made. The "s" is kinda funky and the"o" doesn't have the space on the top.
