Someone convince me that I'm nuts...I have a 1996 (50th anniv) black standard strat with maple fretboard. I've been thinking about getting rid of it. Here's my dilemma...the guitars I'm wanting to trade for it will not hold their value like the strat will. Single coils just don't do it for me, I'm stuck in the eighties. I could just drop a stacked hum in it but then it wouldn't be a strat (silly, I know). Guitars I'm considering are...
New pro Charvel
SL-3 (preferably newer one with OFR)
Dk2 (with graphics, and/or a really nice one with case)
New Gunslinger (any of the 3)
Dk2m (with case)
LP (maybe one of the cheaper MF studio models)
or maybe some kind of tube amp like a mesa f-30, etc.
What should I do???
