The DK2M seems more your style. Get something you'd rather play. I've held onto guitars for too long in some instances and it hits you one day, "What the hell am I holding onto this for ?".

I like the Ghost Flame idea ... imo ... Good luck !!

Thats just a typical USA strat. A dime a dozen. Who cares about down the road resale value. Trade it or sell it for something you will play.

Heartfielder, actually a DK2M is what I kinda want. I had a trade going for a BOF DK2 but it fell through. I was offered a red ghost flames DK2M, but it only has the bridge p/u...was kinda looking for something with a little more versatility. Still thinking about it though.
I still keep practicing though.... Mostly because I hate my neighbors.-MakeAJazzNoiseHere

I'd throw humbuckers in it, I have many hot rodded guitars with floyds which are my favorites, every time i get a classic type guitar(Les Paul, SG, strat, tele,etc...) I always end up swapping them off for more hot rod guitars and regretting it later, I did get a mexican floyd rose strat the same color of yours, its kind of a happy median (Kinda like my prs, everything else is jackson,charvel,b.c.rich,ibanez,esp, etc...)
