    Found a real nice one today.Model 5056 MIJ 1980.
Rosewood back and sides, spruce top.MOP vine inlay on the fretboard and MOP headstock inlay.Mahogony neck.Body binding front and back with the herringbone accent.Dual herringbone inlay down the back center.Neck and headstock binding too turned a nice yellow color.
Action is very low and plays and sounds great.
Came with a nice hard case but what did I find in the storage compartment?
    An intellitouch tuner.
A Fishman pickup and it works great.
    A $20.00 capo.
String winding tool and lots of picks.
    Not a bad find huh?

What the heck? No humbuckers? No sharkfins? No wang bar? Where do you plug it into the Marshall?

    j/k - nice find.

Going to give her a cleaning new strings and smooth out the nut slots today.
Should be good to go.Real nice player.
Did some research and they made these 76-81 a mid-high end one so not too bad for $150.00. Book says $350.00-$455.00.

straycat- Real nice score brother, that thing is fine looking. Nothing like finding some extras in the case, that's happened to me a few times also. That beauty is pushin' 30 years old, I'm sure it sounds full and rich. A nice acoustic is always fun to have around, good to space out with sometimes.

I don't normally like vine inlays, but this one was done tastefully. Excellent score!

Found a few string grooves in the first 3 frets so I did go ahead and re-crown all the frets.Polished the nut slots and thats all it needed.
Martin 80/20 strings sound pretty good too.
