OK admit it. You have one in your closet. Hell, you may even have two. I'm talking about...*gasp*...Korean made guitars. Maybe you learned on one, maybe you found one in a dumpster, hell maybe you accepted one as payment for drugs or sex. It's fair to say that Jackson/Charvel is the king of the slag heap as far as the MIA/MIJ stuff . That being said, let's hear some opinions on the Korean-made wares, past or present (note that some of these choices are not MIK anymore)

Since they actually make a good majority of the guitars you have listed up there, you should list them.
And in that case, I would pick Samick._________________________________________________

all are clowns rather than kings... but G&L tribute bass is something I'd wouldn't be embarassed to play on a big stage... high quality stuff"There is nothing more fearful than imagination without taste" - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I voted ESP/LTD and since the guys are yelling "Schecter" over and over & ESP owns them too...add those votes to ESP/LTD too.
I have some Korean G&L guitars and they are a close second in my opinion (but a different animal altogether than the ESP/LTD/Schecter too). I also think that Ibanez Korea is right up there but I find their designs unattractive for the most part...still their quality keeps them right up there. As to B.C Rich and PRS (which were both tied with ESP/LTD at the time I posted) I say "not even close on the B.C.Rich" and just "no" to PRS. Not that either are bad but definitely not the cream of the Korean crop.My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.
Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.
