After drooling over your guitar for a bit, something about it struck me. You had the pickups painted to match the finish but not the backplates. Why is that?

I didn't actually spec this guitar - Lee just built it and I bought it. All I actually picked out was the neck pickup.

That thing looks amazing. I am not a Tele guy, but I would play that. The only thing that confuses me is the spider on the back of the guitar - looks out of place. Really nice guitar though!!!
