Mexican telecasters.

I played a load of the usa tele’s recently and I prefer the pliability of a Mexican bu the sound of a USA. Also the finish was not quite as good on the Mexican but I can sort the fret dressing.

So ive seen a Mexican tele for £299 and I think it’s a fair price new. So do I get it and put usa pups in it at a later date?

I don't think the Fender USA p'ups are that much better. When I replace mine, I usually drop in a Dimarzio Chopper T into it.

Mexi-teles kick ass. I prefer them to be completely honest. Squire ProTones are really nice too - if you can find one.

sadly, i just sold mine - neede QUICK money...but, i put the SD quarter pound tele set in there and it was better than the USA tele!!!!
