Yeah, the headstock is a little funky. Other than that it is pretty sick.

Actually, I don't mind that headstock. Sure, it's reminiscent of Ibanez, but at least in these pics, I think it looks kinda cool.

I've never really liked the "new" GMW headstocks, but that one kinda works for me. In fact I think it suits the shape more than the Jackson pointy does.

Never been a fan of that shape but its the best example Ive seen of a Firebird.

GMW sure know how to make good looking guitars.

Here's another one... I think the headstock flows nicely on this one. I really dig the serial# at the bottom of the fingerboard too.

Love that guitar. The only thing that I do not like about Firebird bodies in general, is that access to the upper registry is limited. If they just scooped that out a bit more. Beautiful guitar regardless!!!!!

They don't really have to scoop it.
These are neck thru. So you can actually move the entire neck and bridge up and have the fretboard meet the body where ever you want. Just keep the scale in relation and you should be good.
