Love it the way she is. I wouldn't change a thing.

You could just clear it and have a real nice one if shiny is what you want.
I would wrap it just like that because I like the slinky feel plus you don't have the strings touching the back of the TOM bridge. One thing you can do to improve it tone wise use longer TOM bridge studs that go deeper into the body.Really? well screw Mark Twain.

I actually find it more comfortable!
I am doing that the next time I put new strings on my LP.1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom

I can think of maybe four or five pros that "top wrap" and even they don't do it all the time. I don't know a single local pro that top wraps. Personally, I feel it's a gimmick and unless you get the precise break angle from the TOM, you're gonna have intonation problems out the ass.
"Oh, but SEEGERMANY, it looks so cool." Well, I guess a worn stop bar looks cool too. Funny, but in all the Gibsons I've owned over the years, not one single guitar came with instructions on how to top wrap. "But Zakk and Duane and Billy and Jimmy, they all top wrapped!" Well, that's dandy. Maybe they'll send their tech by your house once a week to tweak on your guitar's neck. "What about all the sustain I'll be losing?" Oh yea, it's a real career breaker!"POOP"

Your finish looks good ... I'd leave it alone.
Here's my '05 Standard Faded.
I've since replaced the stock Burstbuckers with '57 Classics.
The Burstbuckers were a bit harsh for my taste.

I did that to a different guitar.
