I like the little black/grey flakes - makes it look like you snatched it off the carrier deck

But uhhh, what's with the end of the board there? Slip o' the saw?

Fantastic! That's just about the best Warbird graphic I've seen. I love the "texturing" - makes it look that much more real. Can't wait to see the others in the series.

That has got to be the most amazing graphic I have ever seen! I have a weakness for WWII grafix anyway but that is... well, there isn't a word that properly describes. The bullet hole ummm inlays(?) are very unique.

                  Hoping to see a Stuka, an ME109, a P-51, a Corsair, a B-17, a P-47, a P-38, a B-25, a Zero, a Kate, a Spitfire, and a Hurricane. How many did I get?

I am also floored by this great work. The Tele style just works awesome for that graphic.

For the B-17, do a "haunted" B-17 ala Heavy Metal.

For a Spitfire, it would be cool having Eddie at the controls like in the Ace's High picture LP that I have.

Hey. does it have to be WW2? How about the old purple/green "lozenge" pattern that the Germans used in WW1? Or better still, like the Gulf War period RAF Tornados - sandy pink with the sharkteeth and pinups.

Newc, thanks bro. The angle on the end of the fret board is on the same angle as the Pickup. I still have all my fingers.

Thanks for the input and feed back guys. I got to play her last night at her first show. The floyd block is an incredible addition to the guitar with the 81 pumping the electrons. It really railed. It is about the same weight as my old Les Paul.
Seeg, I will be using all kinds of aviation dedicated to pilots as well as the plane. For example, Pappy Boyingtons Corsair, Memphis Belle crew and their B-17, alot of internet research. Germans, Japanese, Russian all alike. I have been getting alot of great ideas and information here.
aces and fighter pilots of ww2

You guys have given me a lot of great suggestions here and I will keep the on my mind as I progress with the series. l look forward to sharing the process with you as well. I will also be selling masking kits for these designs for those who choose to do their own paint work. They are being marketed as AXEMASKS. Say that 3 times to yourself.

Again, Thanks for the inspiration and consideration.

                              Mike
