they make a highway one tele, called a baja i think, with a 12" neck radius, which is very rare for a tele, i'm jonesing for {most teles have a 9.5" or a 7.5" which is too round for me, the flatter the better.}

I think it's the texas tele.
The baja is one of the MIM classic custom series.

My Baja is the most versatile Tele I have ever played. It absolutely smokes!

The Blackmore I played was new - the scalloping was impeccable - very nicely done - very smooth. Played like butter. I also really dug the recessed strap locks - a very cool detail. Sounded very beefy - it had the Duncan Quarter Pounders in the neck and bridge.

That sounds just like my '97 MIJ Blackmore, with the SD Quarter Pounders and the recessed strap locks. I'd really like to see the scalloping job. I'll bet it's a nice guitar. I tried to talk my local FMIC dealer into ordering one for the shop but no dice. However they said that they'd be more than happy to order one for me...

I played a few Baja's, but, most were heavier than I was comfortable with.
The Texas Tele had a 12in board and an ash body.
Don't think they are still in production though.
