Post your big-assed jazz boxes!

I always swore to myself that someday I'm going to get the biggest, flashiest, gaudiest hollowbody electric that I can get my hands on. I'm talking big and round with fiddle slits on each side and a Bigsby. I went tooling around the pawn shops and music stores today sort of looking for one. I didn't find a lot, but I've just about decided that I'm going to get one eventually. This isn't the style of guitar that I would put big money into, so I'm probably looking at either a used Epiphone 335 or Sheraton, or maybe a Gretsch.

Do any of you own such guitars? If so, post 'em here!

White Falcon 6136T and a Setzer Nitro Lacquer Flame maple everywhere

I always wanted a White Falcon since way back. Like 1966. Now I have one. I bought the Setzer new in '97 and it has TV Jones pickups.




The White Falcon is about the gaudiest you can get with that gold sparkle binding. The guitar was an answer to Gibson in 1952 or so. They didn't intend to sell them since they were so over the top looks wise.

D'Angenlico ... Korean made. Very solid, and a great player, with
nice attention to detail. Plays like a $2K jazz box, but only cost me $700.00 If it were a real 1950's D'Angelico, it would run around $32K !
