depends on which ones. My brother used to own one and I'll try to remember to ask him. Some are really..not that great. Which one (manufacturer) are you asking about?Why the hell doesn't Eddie pick up a goddamned guitar and play something?

I have one of the new ones and I used to have one of the 2nd generation Guilds. I really can't compare the 2 because they're in 2 different classes.
That being said, the new models are decent guitars for the money. They do get "that" sound and they one I bought is put together fine.

rsmacker will be along to tell you how amazing all the brian may guitars sound. no matter which one you get, you'll have that AWESOME, creamy tone that brian gets. i think RS prefers the guild or the burns.GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!
