You could try a pair of Bill Lawrence L-500xl's.

wilde, guitar pickups, steel guitar pickups, tele pickups, strat pickups, L500XL pickups

The drop tuning makes it hard to suggest something. Otherwise I would have said Dimarzio SDs.

you don't need to change the pickups, YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE POTS!!!

newer (at least 2006 and up) gibsons are coming stock with 330k pots. this dulls the high end and makes it sound like a wet blanket is trown over your amp. change them out to 500k with a .022 capacitor and you'll be loving the sound of your stock pickups.

Well that 'wet blanket' didn't calm down the harsh high end coming from my 2006. There was high end galore and it was tearing my face off and sticking knitting needles in my ears.
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.

Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.

+1. Burstbucker Pros already pack enough heat. They need 330's to calm them down.

I did go with 550K pots in my R0. It sounded good, but I just wanted "more".
